These Terms aim to stipulate the conditions and procedures for using all services provided through the website (the "Site") operated by Eyes Communications Co., Ltd. (the "Company"), as well as other necessary matters.
The definitions of the terms used in these Terms are as follows.
① "Service" on this website refers to the use of various content and other services provided on this Site.
② "ID" refers to a combination of numbers and letters set by the user and approved by the Company for user identification and service use.
③ "Password" refers to a combination of numbers and letters set by the user and approved by the Company to protect the user’s identity and member information.
① These Terms become effective when posted on the service screen or otherwise notified to members.
② Upon a user’s request, the Company provides a copy of these Terms to the user by sending an electronic document (including via email), facsimile transmission, mail, or direct delivery.
③ The Company may amend these Terms when adding new services for members or when important reasons arise under Company policy, and such changes shall take effect in the same manner as described above.
④ Changes and contents of these Terms will be announced by posting on the Company website.
① A user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms when the user clicks the "Agree" button at the time of application.
② The service use agreement is formed when the Company accepts the user’s application.
③ A user who wishes to register as a member must provide personal information and other additional information requested by the Company.
④ In principle, the agreement is concluded with one verified real-name ID per member.
① The Company accepts an application when the applicant accurately fills in all matters specified in the application form.
② The Company may refuse acceptance or, even after registration, may modify or delete member information without notice to the member in any of the following cases:
a. When the applicant used another person’s name
b. When false information was entered in the service agreement application form
c. When the application was made for the purpose of harming public order or morals
d. When other application requirements set by the Company are not met
① Members must manage their information faithfully in order to use this service.
② If there are changes to personal information, members must update it on the “Edit Member Information” page.
③ If a member does not update changes to personal information, the Company may request the member to do so.
① The Company prioritizes the protection of member information; however, it may share member information in the following cases:
a. In the event of partnership, acquisition, spin-off, or merger with another company
b. When, for the purpose of improving the quantity and quality of services and providing various services such as tailored services, events, internet shopping services, communication services, insurance through call centers, statistics, or market research, the Company forms partnerships with specialized content providers or business partners and, with the user’s consent, uses limited personal information necessary for service use (such as name or address) from the personal information provided at sign-up
② Members may withdraw their consent to the collection and use of personal information provided to the Company at any time.
③ If a matter related to Paragraph 1 of Article 7 occurs, the Company shall notify members of the fact and accept withdrawal requests during a 7-day grace period.
① Protecting personal information is a joint effort in which the Company and members each take responsibility and work together.
a. The Company’s efforts
- The Company obtains the user’s consent when collecting personal information.
- The Company bears full responsibility for damages to members if personal information is used for internal management/statistics or for purposes other than Article 7, or if personal information is provided to a third party without the member’s consent, or is lost, stolen, leaked, altered, etc.
b. Members’ efforts
- Members must know their ID and password and ensure they are not exposed to others. The Company is not responsible for damages caused by negligence.
- Members may not transfer their ID and password to others with or without consideration. If a transferred ID is identified, the Company may destroy the user’s ID and personal information.
① The Company aims to provide services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
② The Company may temporarily suspend services after notifying members in the following cases:
a. Regular inspections or maintenance of facilities
b. Service interruption caused by a telecommunications carrier under the Telecommunications Business Act
③ The Company may temporarily suspend services without notice in the following cases:
a. Force majeure such as natural disasters
b. Exposure to malicious hacking
c. Other reasons that make it impossible for the Company to provide services
① The Company may terminate the service use agreement without prior notice or restrict service use for a certain period in any of the following cases:
a. Using another person’s ID and password, email address, or resident registration number
b. Involvement in criminal acts
c. Acts contrary to public order and morals
d. Damaging another person’s reputation or causing disadvantage
e. Acts that harm the service or hinder sound use
f. Other violations of relevant laws and regulations
① If a member wishes to terminate the service use agreement, the member must submit a termination request through the service or via email.
② If a member violates Article 10 and does not remedy the violation within the period set by the Company, the Company may terminate the agreement or withhold acceptance for a certain period.
① Unless there are special reasons, including those in Articles 9, 10, and 11, the Company shall enable users to use the service.
② The Company has the obligation to provide services continuously and stably in accordance with these Terms.
③ The Company will not disclose or distribute members’ personal information to others without the member’s consent.
However, this does not apply where government agencies request it pursuant to telecommunications-related laws or where there is an urgent need to protect an individual’s safety.
① Members are responsible for managing their ID and password.
② Members may not transfer, lease, or lend their ID and password to others without the Company’s consent.
③ If a member’s ID is used improperly, the member must notify the Company of the fact via email or other means.
④ Members may not provide information or services obtained through this Site to others or engage in for-profit activities without the Company’s prior consent.
⑤ Members must not engage in any of the following acts in relation to service use:
a. Unauthorized use of another member’s ID (ID)
b. Acts intended for or related to criminal acts
c. Acts that harm good morals or social order
d. Damaging or insulting another person’s reputation
e. Infringing the intellectual property rights of others
f. Hacking or distributing computer viruses
g. Repeatedly transmitting advertising information against others’ will or linking to other sites
h. Any act that interferes with or may interfere with stable service operation
i. Commercial advertising/promotion through boards or communities
j. Other acts violating relevant laws and regulations
⑥ Members must comply with these Terms and applicable laws and regulations.
① With respect to services provided free of charge, the Company is not liable for damages incurred by members, except for damages caused by the Company’s gross negligence.
① The Company is exempt from liability in the following cases:
a. When services cannot be provided due to force majeure such as natural disasters
b. Liability for the reliability and accuracy of information and materials posted by members
c. Damages arising from members’ negligence in managing and using their ID/password or unauthorized use by third parties
① If a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute between the Company and a user arising during service use, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s head office shall have jurisdiction.
